As you may have heard, this year the Medford Brooks Estate Land Trust and Medford Brewing Company are hosting two “pop-up” picnics at the Brooks Estate. There will be beer, food from Crop Circle Pizza and music. As always, everyone is welcome – proceeds will benefit MBELT. We’re looking forward to seeing members, friends and neighbors and enjoying the afternoon relaxing on the lawns of the Brooks Estate. The first event is coming up on the afternoon of August 29th, 12 noon.
We will be hosting our annual Manor Tours, at 1 PM and 4 PM, as well as a ribbon cutting for the new informational kiosk built by Eagle Scout Gavin Wheeler, at 2:30 PM. There will be music all afternoon – with Riki Rocksteady at 1:30 PM and local singer-songwriter Sarah Mendelsohn and her band, at 3 PM. Mark your calendars and join us near the Carriage House on the Brooks Estate grounds.
The second event will be later this fall; these are part of Medford Brewing Company’s Brews, Bites & Beats series and we appreciate them hosting with us this year!
