Seeking Land Stewardship Coordinator

The Land Stewardship Coordinator acts as the central point of contact for activities related to caring for the 50 acres of conservation land on the Brooks Estate property.

We have a number of experts (both paid and volunteer) ready to help care for the land, but their work requires coordination. We are looking for help for someone to be the liaison between those experts and M-BELT. The Volunteer(s) will help coordinate activities with these experts. Activities could includes events such as invasive removal days, mini-forest initiatives (like the site at Tufts Park [www.treesmedford.org/miniforest-project]), and assisting with the implementation of overall landscaping vision as outlined in our Master Plan.

This role is critical to living out the mission of M-BELT: to ensure the legacy of The Brooks Estate remains available for the enjoyment of all.

Interested in helping out? Fill out our Volunteer form here and we will be in touch!
