The Brooks Estate Picnic will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 12p-3p in the yard of the Shepherd Brooks Manor at the top end of the access drive. Free to all! We supply the hot dogs, burgers/veggie burgers, and soda. We kindly ask attendees to contribute something from this list: chips/crackers/candy; salads; cookies; fruit; or other picnic food. Please note you do not have to bring food in order to attend!
The event includes Manor tours, our famous raffle, and lots of fun. (If you wish to tour the Manor, please bring a mask out of respect for the caretakers that live there.)
IMPORTANT – GENERAL PARKING RULES: For the Picnic, do not park in the Brooks Estate unless you need handicapped parking (at the Manor). Best to walk in at the green gate and blue sign at 275 Grove Street, Medford, and then walk up the access drive to the end. Please do not park in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Do not park along the access drive. Do not park on Grove Street.
HANDICAPPED PARKING: If you need handicapped parking, please drive slowly up the access drive to the Manor (the road is bumpy, be careful). Someone will show you where to park.
