M-BELT has been busy here in early 2025 and we wanted to share some of our most recent milestones. Every task we complete helps move the property closer and closer to financial sustainability.
-Manor bids and contractor engagement are currently taking place for some exterior and interior maintenance items this spring. These items will include fresh plaster and paint work, plumbing maintenance to the radiators and roof and window repairs.
-The Board has completed the creation of an Organizational Handbook, as well as an online filing system.
-A 2025 Operating Budget and fundraising goals was drafted and implemented, including a Capital Fundraising plan.
-Membership offerings are being refreshed and implemented soon for the remainder of 2025.
-A corporate partnership was created with a local business to support our membership campaign through the end of 2025.
Finally, we are very excited about our next major project: adding spaces for more parking near the Shepherd Brooks Manor. This is the first phase of our larger project focused on improving access to the Estate. Work will begin in the next few months – stay tuned for more updates as construction begins.
