Grounds Manager Wanted!

We are looking for a volunteer to act as M-BELT Grounds Manager. This volunteer would act as the head of activities related to caring for the land according to Mass Audubon’s Conservation Restriction Stewardship Manual, including:

  • Drafting and updating Baseline Documentation
  • Work in conjunction with the Trustees of the Reservations to ensure annual monitoring activities take place
  • Overseeing projects related to removal of invasive species and forest maintenance
  • Overseeing activities related to trail maintenance and wildlife monitoring

This role is critical to the living out the mission of M-BELT: to ensure the legacy of The Brooks Estate remains available for the enjoyment of all.

We don’t expect you to do this all yourself; we hope you can bring essential knowledge and guidance to help us engage volunteers in projects and activities related to this work.

If you have time and knowledge in this area and can commit to helping us, we’d love to talk to you! Click here to fill out our volunteer form and explore this or other volunteer opportunities.
