Wildflowers at the Brooks Estate

Brooks Estate Fall Spruce-up 2008

Please meet at the Shepherd Brooks Manor. Volunteers are needed to take care of a variety of indoor and outdoor Fall chores at the Manor and around the Estate.

Please wear work clothes and sturdy shoes. If you have a favorite landscaping tool(s), or cleaning rags (etc.), please bring them along if you wish. Gloves provided. Refreshments and our traditional pizza lunch will be served.

Work an hour or a morning, your choice! Children over 12 are welcome, with adult supervision. CSL credits are given for Medford Middle School or Medford High School volunteers, please inquire by e-mail (below) for the required permission form.

Parking rules: For the Spruce-up do not park in the Brooks Estate unless you need handicapped parking at the Manor. The walk up the access road is very pleasant and will burn some calories! Also, do not park in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
